NAFE and Working Mother Media congratulate Carol Bartz on her new appointment as CEO of Yahoo. Ms. Bartz was awarded the NAFE Avatar Award in 2003 while she was CEO of Autodesk. The award recognized her generosity in helping other women succeed, particularly in IT and the sciences. Ms. Bartz ups the total of women running Fortune 500 companies to 14, a new record.
